Cheer Team Tryouts

Rainbow Gymnastics and Cheer located at 185 Jenkins-Jamestown Road, Dyersburg

Cheer Team try-outs for the 2018-2019 season on
Friday, March 23, 6:30 p.m. at Rainbow Gymnastics and Cheer
located at 185 Jenkins-Jamestown Road, Dyersburg.

The application should be completed before the try-out and is available online to print -
http://www.dscc.edu/node/7095. Applications may be turned into any DSCC One Stop.

Candidates for the DSCC Cheer Team must have recent cheer and/or dance experience and:

* Apply for admission as a degree seeking student or be a current degree seeking student in    
   good academic standing.

* Maintain full-time enrollment (12 or more credit hours per semester) in both the fall and spring
   semesters.

* Current students must have at least a 2.0 GPA.

* Complete the DSCC Cheer Team Application http://www.dscc.edu/node/7095.

* Provide proof of health insurance.

* Be considered to have good moral conduct and to be a good role model.

* The most important requirement is to have college spirit!

The DSCC Cheer Team perform from October - March at all home basketball games. Members receive a scholarship.
