Dyersburg State Community College would like to invite you to the DSCC Donor Recognition Day on Saturday, April 16th at 11:30 a.m. at the DSC Baseball Field. There will be a DSCC baseball game starting at noon and we would love to have everyone in the community come out and enjoy the game, eat a hot dog, and help us show our appreciation to all of our donors! This event is FREE and open to the public!

TSBDC Lunch and Learn

Tennessee Small Business Development Center will host a Lunch and Learn Seminar: Preventing Workplace Violence: Active Shooter Preparedness. This event is scheduled for March 8 at 8 am until noon at the Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County Baptist Memorial Health Care Academic Building Auditorium. Complimentary lunch will be served at noon in the commons area.

Tickets Available for Wine Tasting Fundraiser at DSCC

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) Foundation will host a Wine Tasting Fundraiser Thursday, Mar. 10, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the DSCC Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County inside the Learning Resource Center, room 188.

Guests will have the opportunity to sample a variety of wines throughout the night. Proceeds will benefit the DSCC Annual Fund to support student scholarships and programs at the College. Hors d’oeuvres will be served.

From Trash to Treasure: Art Lecture

Learning Resource Center, Student Center, and Tipton County Public Library

Mr. Frank Lilly with The Center for Southern Folklore will provide a lecture on Southern art and how he skillfully turns trash into treasure. Lilly began painting as a young child in his native hometown of Clarksdale, Miss and he studied at the Memphis College of Arts in the 1960s. Come see how Lilly recycles objects to make everyday art for everyday folk!
