Graduation

Prior to November 1, students who expect to complete all requirements for graduation in the fall should meet with their advisor to complete an Intent to Graduate form. Prior to March 1, students who expect to complete all requirements for graduation in the spring or summer should meet with their advisor to complete an Intent to Graduate form.

Commencement

Students completing requirements for the following are recognized at the annual Commencement ceremony held in May.

• Associate of Arts (AA)
• Associate of Science (AS)
• Associate of Teaching (AST)
• Associate of Applied Science (AAS)
• Students completing certificates are also recognized for the accomplishment.

Students completing degree and/or certificate requirements in December or in May are invited to participate in the May Commencement. Diplomas are mailed to candidates who meet all graduation requirements 4-6 weeks after commencement.

Students completing graduation requirements at the completion of the summer term are also invited to participate in the May Commencement but will not receive their diploma until degree or certificate requirements are met.
