Obtaining an Additional Degree
- While you may earn only one Associate of Science (AS) degree or one Associate of Arts (AA) degree or one Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree, you could earn a combination of degrees.
- For example, a you could earn the AS degree and the AAS degree.
- If you wish to complete the requirements for a major in a different degree, you must complete all curriculum requirements and a minimum of 16 semester credit hours beyond the requirements for the first associate's degree.
- A second diploma will be awarded.
- The DSCC transcript will indicate the completion of the requirements for a second degree, major, area of emphais or concentration.
