ACCUPLACER

The ACCUPLACER® exam is designed to assess the academic skills needed for student success in college. Degree-seeking First-time Freshman or Transfer students may take the ACCUPLACER Exam once for free and a second time for a fee of $10.00 to challenge the learning support requirement in reading, writing, and mathematics.

  • Students are highly encouraged to complete the free ACCUPLACER Brush-Up practice test prior to taking the test. The Academic Success Center offers this free service to prepare students to take the ACCUPLACER test.
  • To schedule the ACCUPLACER Brush-Up, please contact Ms. Dina Ross, Academic Success Center Coordinator, at 731-286-3219 or dkross@dscc.edu for the Dyersburg location or Brooklyn Nanney, Assistant Coordinator of the ASC, at 901-475-3155 or bnanney4@dscc.edu for the Covington location.
