The Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County will become an official COVID-19 vaccination distribution site beginning April 17. The Center will provide the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine free to anyone in need by appointment only on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Those who have already received their first dose of the Moderna vaccine may receive their second dose at DSCC. Drop-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged.

Apply to Work at the Vaccine POD


Complete the DSCC "Application for Vaccination POD Positions" form and Release Authorization and return them (along with copies of any certifications, in particular medical certifications referenced in the application). Applications should be submitted via email to Ms. Jackie Cherry at cherry@dscc.edu or Ms. Tanzy Henson at henson@dscc.edu. Please indicate in the subject line of your email the position for which you are applying.  Applications for employment will be forwarded to the appropriate hiring authority.

Please note that the only vaccine available at this site is the Moderna vaccine. This vaccine requires two doses. You may receive your first or second dose at the DSCC Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County. You must be at least 18 years of age to receive this vaccine.
