Registration Open for DSCC’s College for Kids In-Person Summer Program

Dyersburg, Tennessee – The Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) Division of Continuing Education will offer its annual College for Kids summer program in-person at the Dyersburg campus July 6-9 from 8 a.m. - noon each day. The program is available for children entering the fourth through sixth grade during the upcoming 2021-2022 academic year.

This year’s program features a safari theme entitled, “Come Explore with Us,” and will consist of stimulating and educational classes including acting and improv, arts and crafts, cake decorating, dance and cheer, drawing and sketching, sports and games and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

The cost is $90 per child and includes supplies, daily snacks and a T-shirt. The deadline to register is June 18.

The College will follow strict guidelines for preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus including the requirement of face masks at all times, daily temperature checks and a health screening questionnaire.

Enrich your child’s Spring Break with educational activities and creative learning.  Spring Academy gives young minds different and fun ways to learn outside of the classroom. Morning classes include STEM and Music/Sports/Games, while afternoon classes include Technology/Reading and Art/Crafts. Each student will receive an informational packet by March 9, 2018 with a map and instructions.

Grade Levels: Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Date: Monday, March 12 - Friday, March 16, 2018

Time: Half-Day 8:00a.m. - 11:00a.m. OR 12:00p.m. - 3:00p.m.

            Full-Day  8:00a.m. - 3:00p.m. (lunch provided)

Cost: $85/half-day or $115/full-day

Golf Camp will be instructed by Collin Streeter of the Farms Country Club, Dyersburg, TN.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The cost of the camp is $80. Space is limited. You must supply your own golf clubs.

WHAT ARE THE REGISTRATION STEPS?
Step 1: Parents/Guardians complete and sign the application form.
Step 2: Mail or return the application form and fee to the Division of Continuing Education.
