PLANNING TO EARN A BACHELOR'S DEGREE?

The SECONDARY EDUCATION emphasis (Tennessee Transfer Pathway) will help students prepare to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete their bachelor's degree.

Degree plan requirements for the Secondary Education emphasis by catalog year:
2021-2022, 2020-2021, 2019-2020, 2018-2019, 2017-2018

Typical jobs: Teacher in a secondary public or private school after obtaining a bachelor's degree.

During the sophomore year, students planning to teach should meet the PRAXIS Core Academic Skills for Educators or ACT testing requirements for their transfer institution.
