RESOURCES:

  • MyDSCC email – Please remember to check your MyDSCC email as the official source of college communication. Check your eLearn email for specific course information from your instructor(s).
     
  • Zoom – It is essential that you have access to Zoom software either on your Windows or Mac personal computer, tablet or smartphone. Search for "Zoom Cloud Meetings" in your app store or visit https://zoom.us/download to get the software for your computer. Watch the tutorial on how to download and access Zoom!
     
  • Brightspace LMS (aka D2L) – Log in to DSCC eLearn at https://elearn.dscc.edu to access your online classes. You can also download the Brightspace Pulse app on your smartphone to have access to class materials on the go.
     
  • RAVE – Visit https://www.getrave.com/login/DSCC to login and update your personal contact information so that you will receive emergency notifications from the College via text and email.
     
  • Navigate – Go to https://www.dscc.edu/navigate and download the Navigate app to stay updated on events, schedule an appointment with your advisor, and learn about resources available to you.
     
  • WellVia - WellVia is a national network of Board Certified, State Licensed doctors offering medical consultations 24/7 to DSCC students, as well as their spouse and children. These services are available for non-emergent health care needs. Consultations are a flat fee of $40 each. Visit www.mywellvia.com/dyersburgstatecc or download the WellVia app.
     

TUTORING:

  • The Academic Success Center provides FREE in-person and online tutoring to all DSCC students in a variety of subjects. Students can utilize Zoom for virtual tutoring assistance from the Academic Success Center and Student Support Services.


Help Desk:

  • Assistance can be found online or by calling 731-288-7780 (Dyersburg campus), 901-475-3177 (Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County) or 731-222-5180 (Gibson County Center). Students can also email the Help Desk at helpdesk@dscc.edu.
     

TESTING:

  • Students that need testing should email Adam Dunlap, lead testing technician, at adunlap@dscc.edu or call 731-286-3355.

  • Proctored testing is now available by appointment only in small groups to follow the COVID-19 social distancing guidelines.

  • ACCUPLACER appointments are available on AppointmentPlus.

  • TEAS Exam appointments are available at https://www.atitesting.com/. Find more information about TEAS testing registration at  https://www.dscc.edu/node/7493.

  • For testing questions, call the One Stop at 731-286-3350 (Dyersburg campus), 901-475-3100 (Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County) or 731-855-1419 (Gibson County Center).

PAYMENTS:

Options for making payments to DSCC until further notice:

  1. Log in to your MyDSCC account and pay via credit or debit card, or 
  2. Make a personal or cashier's check payable to DSCC and mail to: Dyersburg State Community College, Student Financial Services, 1510 Lake Rd, Dyersburg, TN 38024.

Broadband Internet Resources:

Note: Free WiFi is accessible at each DSCC location in parking lots closest to the buildings. 

Comcast - Internet Essentials "FREE Two Month" Service for Students

  • In response to emergency measures associated with Coronavirus (COVID-19), Internet Essentials will increase speeds from 15/2 Mbps to 25/3 Mbps for all customers. This speed increase will happen automatically - no action is required by customers. In addition, new customers will receive two months of free service. Click here for more details. Spectrum - Internet Assist Program

  • For eligible low-income households without school-aged children, Charter Communications will continue to offer Spectrum Internet Assist, a low-cost broadband program that provides speeds of up to 30 mbps.
