Dual Admissions with TN College of Applied Technology at Newbern

Dyersburg State Community College, in partnership with the TN College of Applied Technology at Newbern, offers a Dual Admissions Partnership Program (DAP) that guarantees DSCC admission to TCAT-Newbern students who complete a diploma consisting of at least 1,125 contact hours.

The Dual Admissions Partnership Program (DAP) is designed to benefit TCAT-Newbern students in the following:

• You are guaranteed acceptance to DSCC after completing a diploma program of at least 1,125 contact hours.
• You will have access to DSCC transfer staff and academic advisors.
• You will have access to DSCC’s Learning Resource Center (LRC) and computer labs.
• You will receive early advising from DSCC while enrolled at the TCAT-Newbern.
