Basic EMT Courses
The EMT course provides a student the competencies necessary to assume the role of a leader in Emergency Medical Services or Public Safety. Upon completion of these two courses, the graduate possess the skills and abilities to function in the workforce as an Emergency Medical Technician.
To facilitate success in this program, all students should enroll in ORN 1010 Orientation: Learning to Succeed during their first semester at DSCC.
If the student does not currently hold an American Heart Association Healtcare Provider CPR card, he/she must take EMT 1000.
