Traditional Nursing - Evening Track

Students in Nursing lab practicing patient care.

The TRADITIONAL NURSING – EVENING TRACK at Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) is offered at both the Dyersburg campus as well as the Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County. This evening track will allow students to continue to maintain a full-time work position and attend nursing classes in the evening. There will be 24 students admitted in each evening track.

Classes will meet on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 – 9:30 p.m. with clinicals to be conducted on Fridays and/or Saturdays. Clinical times will range from Friday mornings at 6:00 a.m. until Sunday evenings at 11:00 p.m. The final clinical schedule will be determined and distributed at the beginning of each semester.

To be eligible for the TRADITIONAL NURSING – EVENING TRACK, you must first apply and gain full admission status to the college if you are not currently enrolled. Once you have successfully completed the college application process, you may begin the application process for the Nursing Program. Students must meet the admission criteria, be reviewed and accepted for admission, and make satisfactory progress in order to continue their enrollment in the Nursing Program.
