Virtual Online Orientation for Fall Semester Students

Students should RSVP via AppointmentPlus as soon as possible

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) will hold new student orientation virtually for the fall 2020-2021 semester. All new students are required to attend an orientation event. Students attending can register by using AppointmentPlus at www.dscc.edu/appointment and selecting the date they would like to attend. Virtual orientation will extend through August 20, 2020 with fall semester classes beginning August 24.

Students registered for new student orientation will receive an email prior to the orientation date they selected, along with the Zoom information to join. New student orientation is intended to help alleviate any anxiety students may have by answering questions about academic expectations, support services, financial aid, and student life to prepare students for a successful college experience.

Virtual new student orientations will be held on July 28 and 30 at 11 a.m., August 4, 13 and 20 at 5 p.m. and August 6, 11 and 18 at 11 a.m.
