Chancellor Tony Childress swore in SGA members President Jayden Crawford and Vice President Alexis Smith.

The Student Government Association (SGA) of Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) held its swearing-in ceremony of new officers during the Constitution Day festivities on Monday, September 18, at the Learning Resource Center on the Dyersburg campus.

Chancellor Tony Childress was the guest speaker and swore in SGA members President Jayden Crawford of Henning and Vice President Alexis Smith of Munford.

“We were honored to have Chancellor Tony Childress as our guest for the eleventh Constitution Day observance event at Dyersburg State. It was great to have students, faculty, staff, and community members on campus to commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution in Philadelphia on September 17, 1787, and celebrate the instillation of our Student Government Association officers,” stated Larenda Fultz, Dean of Students.
