No spectators allowed at basketball games; softball, baseball and soccer games limited to family only

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) has announced several new protocols initiated by the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association (TCCAA) in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 during spring 2021 athletic games. All student-athletes will be tested for COVID-19 prior to each game. Please check each team's webpage prior to games for the most up-to-date schedule.

Spectators are prohibited from attending indoor games including all men’s and women’s basketball games. However, DSCC will livestream all home basketball games on its YouTube channels. Softball, Baseball and Soccer Games

At outdoor games, including DSCC softball, baseball and soccer games, spectators will be limited to family members of student athletes only, and must follow strict health and safety guidelines. Spectators will be required to wear a face mask at all times; and families must social distance at least 6 feet from other families, coaches, officials and other student athletes. In addition, spectators will not be allowed to sit in bleachers or near the regular seating areas; however, guests will be able to bring their own lawn chairs and sit at least 6 feet away from the fence and field. Bleachers will be reserved for players who will possibly need to sit outside of the dugout. Spectators are not allowed on the field, in the dug-out or near the bench. Restrooms will be open; however, the game administrator will monitor entrances to maintain social distancing and mask requirements. No concessions will be available, but families may bring their own food and drink and should be prepared to take trash with them when they leave. Softball games will be livestreamed on the DSCC YouTube channel, which can be found by visiting www.dscc.edu and clicking on the YouTube icon at the top left of the webpage. Baseball games will be livestreamed via JockJive Sports at www.jockjive.com.
