DSCC to Host Panel on Nov. 18 to Discuss Problems with Homelessness and Mental Health Issues in Dyer County

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) will host a panel and community conversation on Homelessness and Mental Health Issues on Nov. 18 at 1 p.m. in the Security Bank Community Learning Center on the Dyersburg campus.

Reverend Gary Meade at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church will be the panel moderator of community leaders who will discuss these two serious issues. Members of the community slated as panelists include Chris Young, Mayor of Dyer County, John Holden, Mayor of Dyersburg, Steve Isbell, Dyersburg Chief of Police, Rev. James Luvene, Pastor of Ross, Hughlett and Lighthouse Methodist Churches, Amy McDonald, TN Homeless Solutions, Matthew Marshall, CEO of United Way of West Tennessee, and Melissa Brubaker, Director of Matthew 25:40.
