New Student Orientation Planned for January

All new students are required to attend a virtual or online session by the first week of spring semester classes.

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) will hold new student orientation sessions virtually Jan. 7 at 2:30 p.m. and Jan. 11 at 5:30 p.m. for the spring 2021 semester. All new students are required to complete new student orientation via Zoom or the online orientation session between now and Jan. 22. Spring semester classes begin Jan. 19.

New student orientation is intended to help alleviate any anxiety students may have by answering questions about academic expectations, support services, financial aid and student life.

To participate in the Zoom event, students should register via AppointmentPlus at www.dscc.edu/appointment and select the date they would like to attend. To join via Zoom on the day of the session, students should go online to https://dscc.zoom.us/j/6537563829 or join with the Zoom meeting ID 653 756 3829.

Students may also complete the requirement at their own convenience via the Online Orientation link located under the Student Quick Links section in MyDSCC.
