"Go for the Green" Golf Tournament

Proceeds to benefit DSCC's Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) is set to host the 2019 Honor Society “Go for the Green” Golf Tournament Saturday afternoon, July 27, at the Covington Country Club. The DSCC Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society is sponsoring this event with proceeds benefiting PTK activities and program needs. The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at noon.

In addition to the traveling trophy, participants have the chance to win cash prizes in various contests including a putting contest, a hole-in-one contest, a longest drive contest and a closest-to-the-pin contest. There will be an opportunity for the top two winners of the closest-to-the-pin contest to win $1 million by hitting a hole-in-one. Door prizes will be awarded at the end of the tournament.

The cost for a team of four is $400 and includes a catered lunch beginning at 11 a.m. Cash prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place teams in two flights. Teams are welcome to bring their own carts; however, carts are available to rent for $40 per team.
