Former DSCC Student-athlete Madison Luttrell Paves the Way to the NAIA National Championship

Madison Luttrell claimed victory with her UT Southern women’s soccer team in the NAIA National Championship on Dec. 6.

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) former student-athlete and graduate Madison Luttrell claimed victory with her UT Southern women’s soccer team in the NAIA National Championship on Dec. 6.

Madison graduated from DSCC in May 2021 with an impressive academic record and an outstanding record of performance as a member of the DSCC Soccer Team. Madison was recruited to play at the University of Tennessee - Southern after graduation. Madison was a member of the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association (TCCAA) from 2019-2020 and a member of the 2020-2021 All Conference Teams.

Madison made the following statement about the role that DSCC played in her success. "I was so blessed to start my academics and athletics at Dyersburg State. They helped develop me as a person and gave me confidence that I could excel on this level with the family around me. I will always treasure my experience there and wouldn't change it for the world."

Madison graduated DSCC in 2021 with an associate in science degree and a major in pre-dental hygiene. Madison is majoring in biology at UT Southern.
