Dyersburg State Will Implement a Four-Day Week Schedule for Summer 2022

DSCC will implement a new operational schedule over the summer months with expanded business hours Monday through Thursday each week and closing on Fridays.

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) will implement a new operational schedule over the summer months with expanded business hours Monday through Thursday each week and closing on Fridays. The new schedule is set to take effect on Monday, May 9 through Friday, July 29. Beginning May 9, business hours will transition to 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. President Scott Cook stated, “the purpose of this summer schedule is to offer students more flexibility while also increasing extended access to hours for student support services, prospective students, and community members to access the College as well as the reduction of financial costs.”

New students to DSCC may complete an online application at www.dscc.edu/apply or if you need assistance, email us at enroll@dscc.edu. Current degree-seeking students are encouraged to schedule an appointment with an advisor to register for classes at www.dscc.edu/appointment. All students are encouraged to sign up for classes early for the best class selection.

Summer and fall registration will open on March 21, 2022. The summer schedule will reflect the four-day-a-week course schedule offered Monday through Thursday.

“We are excited to provide this new opportunity and hope this will allow us to better serve our students while improving work-life balance for our employees,” said Dr. Jan Reid-Bunch, Vice President of the College.
