Dyersburg State Hosts Art Exhibit at the Dyersburg Campus and the Jimmy Naifeh Center

DSCC will host an art exhibit by local artists Jorge Cruxent and his late wife, Estelle (Fire) Cruxent.

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) will host an art exhibit by local artists Jorge Cruxent and his late wife, Estelle (Fire) Cruxent of Newbern, TN. This exhibit comprises unique collages and photomontages created by Estelle Cruxent and displayed in the Learning Resource Center (LRC) through the end of March. There are also examples of their collaborative art on permanent and long-term display in the LRC in Dyersburg and the Jimmy Naifeh Building at the Jimmy Naifeh Center in Covington, TN. In addition, an artist reception is planned for Tues., March 22, from 5 -6 p.m. in the LRC in Dyersburg, where the public is invited to come and chat with Mr. Cruxent about their lives as artists and world travelers.
