Dyersburg State Holds Celebration Ceremony for Emergency Medical

DSCC honored 13 graduates from the College’s EMS Programs with a celebration ceremony on Jan. 21.

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) honored 13 graduates from the College’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Programs with a celebration ceremony Jan. 21. The ceremony took place inside the Student Center at the Dyersburg campus.

Mr. Baker McCool, EMS Program Director welcomed everyone and the invocation was given by Captain John Williams, Chaplain, Milan Fire Department. EMS Adjunct Faculty, Mr. Darren George and Mr. Patrick Burns, and Mr. Danny Parker, EMS Faculty/Clinical Coordinator gave heartfelt words of encouragement to these graduates. In recognition of the student accomplishments, the students received a challenge coin and a certificate. The evening closed with remarks from Mr. McCool and benediction by Captain Williams.
