DSCC Program Director Receives TEMSEA Award

Baker McCool was presented the TEMSEA Darren Ellenburg Program Director of the Year Award.

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) EMS Program Director Baker McCool was presented the Tennessee EMS Education Association (TEMSEA) Darren Ellenburg Program Director of the Year Award.

TEMSEA promotes and fosters the development of effective, professional EMS and EMS education in Tennessee. The program provides EMS Educators with an opportunity for growth, academic achievement, and leadership in developing the EMS Educational arena TEMSEA also works with the Division of EMS to provide Educator Development and advocates legislation and regulations that promote the growth and development of the EMS Profession.

The award was presented on Monday, July 24, at the Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County by Vincent Clark and Lieutenant David Chadwick of the Memphis Fire Department. DSCC paramedic students and members from the Munford Fire Department, the Covington Fire Department, Baptist Tipton Hospital, and the Priority Ambulance Service were in attendance to congratulate McCool on his achievement.
