DSCC JNC Military Flags Presentation

DSCC was presented military flags from Representative Debra Moody and Senator Paul Rose.

Dyersburg State Community College was presented military flags from Representative Debra Moody, Tennessee State Representative, District 81and Senator Paul Rose, Tennessee State Senate, District 32 on January 21 at the Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) Jimmy Naifeh Center (JNC) at Tipton County.

Retired Lieutenant Colonel Michael Peeler, Director of Student Life welcomed everyone to JNC. The pledge of allegiance was given by Mr. James Beel, DSCC Financial Aid Counselor along with Mr. Thomas Frost, Instructor of Music and DSCC Chorus Director singing the National Anthem. US Navy Master Chief (Retired) Larrick Johnson recited the Sailor’s Creed. Opening remarks was given by the 4^th President of DSCC, Dr. Scott Cook. Rep. Moody and Sen. Rose gave remarks and were presented with plaques from Ms. Sarah Twaddle, Veterans Academic Success Coach. The closing remarks was given by Dr. Jan-Reid Bunch, DSCC Vice President of the College.
