DSCC to Host Recruiting & Information Event for Henry County

The recruiting and information event for Henry County will be held on April 4, 2023.

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) will host a recruiting and information event in Henry County for proposed offerings during the July and Fall 2023 semesters.

The event will be held on April 4, from 3-7 p.m., at the Henry County Center* (pending approval by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges) at 55 Jones Bend Road Ext., Paris, TN 38242.

“Dyersburg State Community College is excited to be a part of the Henry County family. We would love to answer any and all questions that you may have about DSCC,” stated Dr. Amy Johnson, DSCC Interim Vice-President of Academic Affairs & Student Success.

Recruiting and information events are open to prospective students and the community from Henry County and the surrounding counties.

DSCC plans to offer general education courses that will transfer to 4-year colleges and universities, as well as workforce-ready technical programs that include the Healthcare Technician Program, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and many workforce development training opportunities such as Advanced Manufacturing, FANUC Robotics, Critical Care, and many more. These programs are pending approval by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
