DSCC to Host Adjunct Recruitment Fairs in April

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) will host adjunct recruitment events at the following locations: Henry County Center (pending approval by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges) on Monday, April 17, from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. at 55 Jones Bend Road, Ext., Paris, TN 38242; Jimmy Naifeh Center on Wednesday, April 19, from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. inside the Learning Resource Center Lobby; and Dyersburg Campus on Tuesday, April 25, from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. inside the Learning Resource Center Sells Family Lobby.

Opportunities are available in the following subject areas: Accounting, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT), Biology, Chemistry, Communications, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Criminal Justice, Early Childhood, Electrocardiogram (EKG), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Emergency Medical Technican Paramedic, English, History, Math, Nursing, and Phlebotomy.

Adjunct instructors must meet the following minimum requirements: master’s degree in subject field from a regionally accredited college or university, or master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and 18 graduate semester hours in subject field for transfer. Other requirements may apply for technical programs.
