DSCC Held Annual College for Kids Summer Program in June

DSCC's annual College for Kids summer program hosted 105 students on the Dyersburg campus.

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) Division of Workforce Development held its annual College for Kids summer program at the Dyersburg campus on June 13-15, 2023, and hosted 105 students.

This year’s program featured the “Rockin’ Into Summer” theme. DSCC provided stimulating educational classes, which included Minecraft, STEM, Acting and Improv, Cake Decorating, Dance and Cheer, Legos, Jewelry Making, and Science Adventure. “College for Kids is a great community program that allows our local children to visit campus and learn new skills while engaging with our talented faculty and staff,” stated Dr. Amanda Walker, vice president of external affairs.
