DSCC Celebrates 25th Anniversary at the Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County

The Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County (JNC) celebrated its 25th anniversary of providing post-secondary education in West Tennessee. The reception was held in Covington on Friday, Nov. 5, at 8 a.m. Community members, faculty and staff, students, and alumni joined in celebrating the college’s milestone.

Dr. Karen Bowyer, president of DSCC, welcomed guests and introduced longtime supporters of the Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County. Speaker Emeritus Jimmy Naifeh, Senator Paul Rose, Jeff Huffman, and Judge Martha Brasfield gave remarks about the college’s success over the past 25 years. The DSCC Chorus performed for the closing of the anniversary celebration.
