Dr. White Honored as a Woman of Distinction

Dr. Charlene White, vice president for finance and administrative services at Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC), was honored Nov. 13 as a 2018 Woman of Distinction by the local Heart of the South Chapter of the Girl Scouts. Dr. White, a native of Friendship, was one of six women honored during the organization’s annual luncheon held inside the DSCC E.H. Lannom, Jr. Gymnasium on the Dyersburg campus. Supporting their co-worker were DSCC staff and faculty members (from left) Beth Mullins, director of administrative services, Edith Carlton, administrative assistant to the president, Patricia Larson, executive secretary to the vice president of finance and administrative services, Emma Reynolds, faculty emeritus, Dr. White, Dr. Karen Bowyer, president, and Josh Duggin, vice president for Technology.
