Summer science classes offered at DSCC

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) will offer a variety of high-demand summer classes including Anatomy and Physiology I and II, Astronomy, Biology I and II, and Organic Chemistry I and II. Students attending other colleges and universities returning home for the summer are encouraged to take advantage of these courses.

 

DSCC will offer additional summer classes including Accounting, Advanced Integrated Industrial Technology (AIIT), Art Appreciation, Agriculture, A+ Hardware and Software, Business, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Education, English Composition I and II, Information Systems, Mathematics, Networking, Pre-Calculus College Algebra, Psychology, Speech and World Literature I. Advising and registration for all summer sessions is taking place now. Full-term summer session will begin June 4 and end Aug. 8. First-session summer classes will begin June 4 and end July 6. Second-session summer classes will begin July 9 and end Aug. 9.

 

Students are encouraged to go online to make an appointment with an advisor before registering for summer classes by visiting www.dscc.edu and clicking on ‘Future Student’ and ‘Make an Appointment.’ An appointment can also be made by contacting a One Stop Center at the Dyersburg campus at 731-286-3350, the Gibson County Center at 731-855-1419 and the Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County at 901-475-3100.
