Dyersburg State Community College’s (DSCC) Head Baseball Coach Robert White was recently named the 2020-2021 Tennessee Community College Athletic Association (TCCAA) Coach of the Year in Region VII. The announcement was made May 10 at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region VII Baseball Tournament, hosted by Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin.

This marks the fourth time Coach White has won the title of TCCAA Coach of the Year, with the first time being in 2013. The annual award is selected by TCCAA conference coaches who cast their votes to nominate which coach they feel has performed the best with their team that year. Coach White led the Eagles to a 40-5 overall record, a 31-1 conference record, and were runners-up at the TCCAA Region VII championship. The Eagles finished the season ranked nationally at #15 in the final National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) poll.
