Applicants and Students Welcome On-Site by Appointment Only Beginning May 18

All locations remain closed to the public until further notice.

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) has announced that each location will be open to applicants and current students by appointment only for official college business and computer lab use beginning Monday, May 18. Buildings will remain closed to the public until further notice.

Applicants and current students may visit any DSCC location by making an appointment online at www.dscc.edu/appointment or by calling a One Stop Center at 731-286-3240 (Dyersburg), 901-475-3100 (Covington) or 731-855-1419 (Trenton).

Upon arrival, those with an appointment will follow posted directions for entering the building followed by a quick health screening and temperature check. All guests will be required to wear a facemask, which can be provided upon entry. Social distancing will be observed and no more than 10 people will be allowed in any given area.

While most faculty continue to work remotely from home through the summer semester, all DSCC staff returned to work May 11. Those working on-site are required to wear a facemask and undergo a daily health screening and temperature check upon arrival.

The College recently announced that all summer semester courses will be offered through a distance learning mode. Students will meet with their classes through Zoom teleconferencing during the designated class times. The decision was made out of continued concern for its college community amid the COVID-19 pandemic. DSCC online and TN eCampus classes will be offered as normal.

Advising and registration for summer and fall semesters is taking place now for current and prospective students through phone and Zoom teleconferencing. Students are encouraged to set up an advising appointment through their Navigate app (www.dscc.edu/navigate) or through the DSCC website. Prospective students can make an appointment by visiting www.dscc.edu/appointment. Students may also contact a One Stop Center at 731-286-3240 (Dyersburg), 901-475-3100 (Covington) or 731-855-1419 (Trenton).
