Advising and Registration for Summer and Fall Now Open

Students encouraged to register now for best class selection.

Advising and registration for Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) summer and fall classes is now open for all current and prospective students.

Students who have not done so already may apply now to DSCC by visiting www.dscc.edu and clicking on the red ‘Apply Now’ button. Students are encouraged to meet with an advisor before registering and can do so by visiting www.dscc.edu and clicking on ‘Future Students’ and ‘Make an Appointment.’ Those who are enrolled this spring semester and are not working toward a degree do not need to meet with an advisor. Students are advised to sign up for classes early for best class selection.

The DSCC website also provides information on registration requirements, financial aid and degrees and programs available such as Agriculture, Advanced Integrated Industrial Technology (AIIT), Computer Information Technology, Criminal Justice, EMS and EMT-Paramedic, Health Information Technology, Health Services, Nursing, Paramedic to RN, and more. Also available are popular transfer programs such as Teaching K-6, Business Administration, Chemistry, Pre-Physical Therapy and Pre-Occupational Therapy.

Students are encouraged to visit an Academic Success Center, located at each DSCC location, for assistance in their pre-college preparation. The Academic Success Center provides free tutoring, preparation for and actual testing out of learning support classes, and assistance in strengthening reading, writing and math skills. This free service is available to students year-round.
