Advising and Registration Open for Winter Session and Spring Semester

Students should apply and register early for best class selection

Advising and registration for the upcoming winter session 2020 and spring 2021 semester at Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) is now open for all current, new and readmitting students. Students are encouraged to register for classes as soon as possible to ensure best class selection and meet with their advisor to discuss their educational and career goals.

Winter session classes will begin Dec. 16, 2020 and last through Jan. 11, 2021. Fees are due before 4:30 p.m. Dec. 15. Spring semester classes will begin Jan. 19, 2021 through May 3 with fees due before 4:30 p.m. Jan. 7, or at the time of registration for those registering after that date.

Students may apply online with no application fee at www.dscc.edu. The website includes courses available and new certificate programs including Early Childhood Administrator, Electrical Maintenance Fundamentals Technician, Infant Toddler, IT Technician, Mechanical Maintenance Technician, Mechatronics, and Office Specialist. Also available are Tennessee Transfer Pathways (TTP) programs such as Agriculture, Business, History, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Pre-Physical Therapy and Pre-Occupational Therapy. TTP programs allow students to save money on tuition by taking the first two years at DSCC and then easily transferring to a four-year university or college in Tennessee to obtain a bachelor’s degree.
