DSCC to Host Soccer Field Dedication and Sophomore Recognition Ceremony on Oct. 13

The 2023 Sophomores will be recognized before the game.

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) will host a field dedication for the Patriot Bank Soccer Field and Sophomore Recognition Ceremony on Friday, October 13, at the Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County. The 2023 Sophomores will be recognized before the game at 1:30 p.m. The Lady Eagles will play UT Southern JV at 2:00 p.m., and the dedication of the field will be held during halftime.

The Patriot Bank Soccer Field construction was completed in the summer of 2023. DSCC communicated the need for a soccer field closer to its Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County through several community meetings, and Patriot Bank Chairman Mr. Charles Ennis graciously stepped forward with a leadership gift of $100,000 to develop the Eagle's new soccer field and secured naming rights to the field on behalf of Patriot Bank.
